A simple baffle plate for installation in the oil sump.
Reports of oil starvation during aggressive driving, i.e. racing or drifting, were found to be caused by the oil in the engine sump sloshing to one side rather than reentering circulation.
Baffle plates such as this one were found by various parties to delay this issue long enough to ensure optimal oil pressure throughout.
I have not had this issue and need to rely on other sources in the matter. This is merely a cost-saving variant similar to other available types.
